Hello everyone :D I just got back from our trip in Camaya Coast last Friday~ and before I even give you guys a sneak peak to it, I want to say that I've participated in Eun Mi-ssi's Site of the Month Contest for May. I haven't joined any contests for the past few years so I'm really

Being around the internet for almost half of my life, I've already seen tons of images that are very beautiful or just plain awesome. Most of it are taken by pro-photographers using their high-end DSLR's which I have always been dying to have.

So when had the guts, I went over to my Yi Biao Jie (elder maternal cousin) if I can borrow her D3100 for awhile. I was of course kind of hesitant, not because I think she might not lend me, but because I know that I'm not really that knowledgeable to use one— although I did have taken a basic photography class in journalism. ~~Darn, I must be daydreaming that time. Sheesh~~

As you can see in the above picture, both of it are 'mirror shots' in which it covers my face. Why? well, one thing I've learned is that it's such a workout to take selca shots with DSLR's. It's too heavy and bulky to hold single-handed and front faced especially with shaky hands. Trust me, I tried. Blurry and overexposed shots come as result. Here's one:

So perhaps, I might just take pictures of places and inanimate objects other than myself. Cause you know, that's just too vain. Haha. And perhaps, the shots would come out much better :D

Ciao! I've been working all week learning new digital techniques. And one of them are making vexel Chibi's. I'm not much of an anime fan, just so you know. But chibi-fied versions of them don't fail in making me squeal!

Yesterday I did a ~~failing~~ version of me as Chibi. I'm not an expert in doing such especially the eyes so I called for help from my ever reliable DeviantArt friends :D (Sankyuuu~!) and don't even mention the shadowing (or cell-shading)

God, that part totally killed me. I'm such a doorNOOB in shadowing.

Well, being such a newbie, it literally took me hours to finish that. Still, I find it so fulfilling to finally create one! So perhaps I might be doing it a little often~ So how did it went? lets see:

It was ~~fried day~~ Friday yesterday and I was lazy enough not to attend school ^_~ I was left alone in our house watching TV, internet surfing and having a mini-concert in front of the mirror. It was all fun and exciting just when I felt hungry and didn't find any snack-worthy in the fridge. So after my crazy little moment, I went back at the kitchen and decided to cook~! So what did I decided to cook? well, nothing special but a classic Chinese food and one of my favorites— CHAO FAN! or fried rice :] Lucky enough, I found peas, corn bits, sausages and left-over rice in the kitchen.

Man, I'm sure you've all heard and seen the very unfortunate Japan Earthquake and Tsunami in Tokyo and Sendai Harbor. It has been all over the news since it happened last Friday... and it's really depressing to see the poor Japanese people struggle and suffer with the aftermath of the disaster >.< SO PLEASE LET US ALL PRAY FOR THEM and hope that they could get on faster from Mother Nature's test.

But on the sunny side of the story (and the BEST part)— School Ends! Woohoo!

Well no, school hasn't ended YET. But, it will in the following weeks! I don't even have to wait for that day 'cause all we are attending for is the review for the final exam. We aren't doing anything essential and basically just trolling everyday in our room. I love it! 'Cause NO SCHOOL means NO CHEMISTRY & PHYSICS (Uhm, I did mention that I suck at those subjects didn't I?)

Plus, it's SUMMER! (yeah, you could just tell it by how humid the weather is) So it's no need to put your smarty pants and intellectual awesomeness this time of the year :D

Sadako to Sunako

Hey everyone! Gosh, I've been gone so long didn't I?
Well, I'm coming back to show off my newly chopped bangs! Haha :D It's been ages since I got mine in blunt style, coz I've always had my bangs in side swept.

It's feels really good :] Now, I don't have to always put away my hair whenever it covers part of my face. After this change, I thought I would get away with people teasing me as Sadako Yamamura, but on contrary, they're now calling me Sunako Nakahara! LOL xD I like them (even they're kinda scary) 'cause I'm a big fan of The Ring and The Wallflower (I am a wallflower myself ^^) but I don't get why they call the names to me when I'm not the only one in our school having this kind of hair (there are a LOT actually) Haha!

Is it because that I have a mysterious and weird personality like theirs?

Or do I look ugly enough to be a ghost on TV? Haha. Well, IDK~ You be the judge~ Haha!

Expectation Kills

We humans have this common tendency to think a lot about everything or for that matter about nothing. We tend to expect a lot from others. Parents expects from their children; teachers from their student, a friend from a friend, girlfriend to a boyfriend— and the list goes on. However, we always end up seeing ourselves in this whirlwind of hangups.

When it comes to career and success, I do think that it's okay to put some expectation since it just shows that you believe in yourself. Though when it comes to relationships among people, I think one should never ever expect anything from anyone, not even from someone you are closest to. The thing that happens is, we start making apprehensions so we often do our thinking from someone else's point of view. In the sense, that we start making assumptions on how he/she will react. And when it doesn't work the way we want, it hurts... it hurts big time.

It's these catches that kills you at the end. Its always easy to say "Don't Expect", but at the same time it is the most toughest thing "Not to Expect". Most especially when people give us some factors to expect onto. Somehow I have made my mind and I now simply don't expect anything from anyone. Perhaps, life would be more smooth.

Enjoy life to the fullest. That's the mantra.

Follow it, without any assumptions, and you will be the happiest person in this world.

Something About Unrequited Love

2011, so far, has been very good to me. Although school had just came back, seeing my beloved crazy friends had been very much rewarding. However, welcoming the day with exhausting piles of schoolwork and rigorous teachers— not even close.

Since mentioning something about 'unwanted' occurrences. Let me tell you about this thing we'll call under the name Xin Hong [it's he's given Chinese name, in which could coincidentally mean 'Heart Bomber' if put in a different character. Totally fits]. He's a guy (a senior) who I've been liking since God-knows-when. The fact that I called it him a thing is because he's just as cold, heartless and numb as any rock would get. The moment you will look at him, he will already bewitch you with his bland yet innocent smile like THIS [click and it'll open in a new tab] He just made me die for a second. That's just cruel right? Well... no. I'm just overreacting. But yes, he can be as cute as Yukito.

Seriously speaking, the actual reason why I called him a thing is because he seems so unconscious and unmindful of his surroundings that I actually feel lost in the scene when he's around. He doesn't mind. I am just a blurred background. Invisible and unnoticeable to his eyes.

On the side note, why would I blame him for all the things I never had the urge to care about? Is it his fault that he doesn't notice a weird looking creature looking from afar and telling herself "I want to talk to you... but, I just can't" Stupid right? I know *facepalm* Mr. Courage doesn't seem to like me. Explains how he doesn't come to me very often. I've always wanted him to visit me some time around, but he just doesn't seem to appear when I badly need him.

"We all have secrets"— yes, the girl holding the book on the left wrote it wide and clear. I have lots of mine and this is just one. Did I just mentioned earlier that I've been liking him since 'God-knows-when'? Yes? then, make it 3 years in exact. 3 years of hiding, and 3 years of sufferings and pain. All of those time, I've never got the guts to walk and talk to him. Never. Ever.

Seems like I'm really good in keeping secrets, and making myself dumb... not! (except for the second part) For my diary-slash-journal-slash-planner-slash-doodle book knows it all. Oh yeah it does. I've been pouring all my deepest secrets and feelings on it for years. Just like a childish school girl. I was amazed on how many those 'deepest secrets and feelings' are, that my diary-slash-journal-slash... okay just notebook— turned out to be Bible thick. You can even mistake it as the big old dictionary from the public library. What a crybaby.

I don't know what to do now for I'm getting sick of this over and over again. This drama queen stage I'm in is just pure ass-pain and I don't wanna be in it anymore. The more I see him, the more I realize he's just an impossible dream. Perhaps, the only thing worth doing is cherish the few moments left that I'll be able to see him. After his high school graduation this coming April, he will be leaving to China to get his college degree. Sad, but quite expected for the eldest son in the family (No, I didn't stalk and looked information about him. So don't look at me) Maybe when I get to college, I'll be able to follow him there (darn, Guangzhou is so far from Tianjin. Airfare = bankrupt) but it's IF I'll be able to see him there. That's the big question. I guess, we aren't just meant to be. I feel hopeless now even though somehow I still believe in Once upon a times... and Happily ever afters. Not everyone is lucky to have a Cinderella story of their own. And I guess, I'm one of those unlucky ones.

And it all boils down to this: Loving someone who doesn’t love you in return is like expressing how you feel to a wall: a complete waste of time. So the final verdict is: Love those people you love, but love those people who love you back more. There is more to life than a stupid unrequited love. There are your family, friends. Those people who are always there after all the tears, heartaches and stupidness you've had. Why waste such a perfectly good YOU for someone who doesn't deserve you at all?

However keep in mind:

Love is sometimes denied, sometimes lost, sometimes unrecognized, but in the end, always found with no regrets, forever valued and kept treasured.

This post is just so cheesy isn't it? Well, I hope you weren't bored in reading this crappy entry of mine, but on first basis you didn't even have to read this far. Although, I thank you million for that :)

Back from Hibernation

Hello creatures of the Earth! I'm officially B-A-C-K from my looong hibernation. I've missed everyone so much since it has been months that I've been out! ♥ Anyway, as you can see, I've got a new [but yet again] blinding pink theme for my 2011 opening. It's somewhat inspired from my past layout, but this time it's a more simpler and neat version :D I thought that having a well-formed blog is better than just an all 'cutesy' one.

Speaking of which, I've also decided to make few new year's resolution for my site:

A) I want to keep my posts more formal but still interesting - using those cute BiBi smilies are really nice but I think they're kind of out for me now 'cause I am trying to focus more on the writing itself instead of the visual aspects of the post. I mean, that's what blogging is all about right? In fact, putting up smilies takes a lot of time for me.

B) I'll keep the updates more often - you all know how I suck at being active in posting so I thought of changing this habit by opening my account more frequently ~~and kick myself from being a lazy coach potato~~. In fact, minimizing the expense of putting lots of smilies in post will also help me to be encouraged to post more

C) Commenting regularly on followed blogs and choosing people to link - It's really nice making friends online and we all know that. But the fact that there are so many people who are out there to be potential friends, it becomes so hard to keep up! When there are lots of blogs to link and follow, that's the time when I find it hard [or most likely fail] to stop one-by-one at their pages and comment on the entries they have posted. Don't even mention the hassle of relinks. LOL :P

I think that's it. I'm fingers crossed that I can finally fulfill those.

I was, and I still am

Our PC lost it's internet connection for a matter of days, and until now it hasn't came back yet T____T So unfortunately, I only borrowed some time to use my cousin's laptop today thus I also don't have any smilies in this post.

I was already about to open my goodies page last 5th of May (cuz it's the 1st month anniversary of my blog) yet, it was postponed to 'God knows when' because of the former problem.

Anyway, for the brighter side of the story:
I SAW U-KISS AGAIN IN NAIA TERMINAL AIRPORT last Saturday!!! Awww~ I went there very very early cuz I know the crowd would be crazy just like the moment Super Junior came! It was a bit milder than SuJu, but of course we were all startled to see the guys so you can just imagine how intense the adrenalin rushed in all of the Kiss Me's who came! Besides, I've already refunded my ticket to their concert due to tight school schedules so it's my only chance to see them once more!

Added to that is the fact that school had already started last 15th :) I already quit in the Special Science Program of our school, so I'm only in a regular class now. It was really tiring yet fun! I can't believe I'm a Junior now XD I came to meet a lot of new friends, but I admit, I'll sure miss the Linnaeus Judenites and those Singaporeans who always visit to observe us TT___________TT

Subjects were almost the same, though they added Chemistry, Physics and Trigonometry on the list. Hence, school time got longer X( it's now 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM so probably, it'll be much harder for me to blog more. Although, I can see it as a good opportunity to tell my mom an allowance increase! keke XD

Anyway, since I still don't have our connection back. I still don't know when I'll be able o reply tags, comments and such on my blog. Though thank you for those people who always visits here ♥ *BIG HUG* la-la-love to all of you!!! jia you~!

Tech Week

Aiiya It's been almost 2 weeks since I last posted... gosh, I'm really a ~~failing~~ blogger Well, I need to prepare things for school. In fact, it's only 2 weeks left, so I want to find new things to spend it before hell comes its way!

Anyway, I finally got my Photoshop upgrade last week! I have been using CS3 for almost 2 years and I'm completely okay with it, but after I saw how nice are the enhancements and new features in CS5, I wasn't hesitant to have it! The new interface is pretty nice, and as you have seen on the right, the opening logo has also morphed from the classic blue rectangle, to a stylish octagon

Well, I had quality bonding time with my new baby by making pixel buttons for my blog It was my first time to do pixeling, so it was kinda hard for me to start it with but it was really fun (and cute) in the long run!

In fact, I'm planning to have a goodies page It will include sets of patterned backgrounds, pixel icons, favicons that I got from various sites for everyone to download Though, I will include some of my works and few tutorials too if I have time

Next on the line would be Adobe Illustrator I'm ignoring that software for ages cuz I think I have all my needs in PS. But being a 2 year member in DeviantArt, I just realized how cool vector art is , so yeah I'm getting it too along with Premiere Elements 8 :D

I want to be an all-around multimedia editor ! Not just in graphics but also with videos and music. So, wish me luck guys!

a lazy Thursday morning

大家早上好 I am quite busy so I haven't had a follow up post for this week until today

Anyway, I woke up extra extra early this morning During vacation, most specially in summer, I usually get up at 11:00 to 12:00 o'clock regularly (wew~ talk about being lazy ) but my mom unexpectedly woke me up at 6:30 AM. And I was like "why?! *yawns* it's still 5 hours before I supposed to get up... I'm still sleepy ~~~" then my mom told me that she was about to take a bath, when she remembered that she haven't encoded some of her files yet, so she's asking me to do it while she's getting ready for work.

I hate the feeling of getting up so early~! It gives me massive headaches more than my Algebra class does But of course, even I was in a really ~~pissed~~ sleepy mood, I couldn't say no~ and that's the worse thing So yeah, I stood up and felt like the room is going round and round (bingeul-bingeul, bingeul-bingeul!) with my hair looking like it was struck by an extremely high-voltage of lightning My eyes were only half open while walking down the stairs in a really slow motion like a piggy-faced zombie

After I finished that typing job. I hurriedly went back to bed to try if I can still continue my sleep... but unfortunately, I couldn't~ and even if I do, I still can't continue my dream where 敖犬 (Ao Quan) and 王子 (Wang Zi) strangely appeared in

It was kinda weird since I haven't seen or heard much of them since 黑糖瑪奇朵 (Hei Tang Ma Qi Duo) and I have watched that drama for like 2 years ago~

Maybe these 2 LOLLIPOP boys are haunting me O.o saying things like:

"You were once so loyal and a big fan of us~ but now all you shout is U-Kiss, U-Kiss, U-Kiss!! You never turned back to your Chinese roots and continue fangirling to those Korean sʎɐƃ¡¡"

...and that's the lamest narration ever... As if they would really say such thing...

Okay, where was I? I'm lost Oh, I remember now... so yeah, because I couldn't get to sleep ~~again~~, I just went down and surfed the internet to added new songs on my phone and iTunes. That includes the Chinese Version of Wonder Girls' "2 Different Tears" Honestly, I was quite disappointed with the track when it was released in May 15 Even I was never a fan of Wonder Girls, I was still expecting for them to have a new single that is really butt-kicking good like most songs of the artists on the Electropop bandwagon. I'm not saying it sucks, don't get me wrong. I just feel that it sounds TOO 80's retro funky that's kinda awkward to most trends today , though I still gave it another chance since they have a version in Mandarin and the replacement member for Sunmi is Chinese
[HAE LIM'S PART IS THE BEST!] *cough* biased *cough*

Anyway, enough with the whining~ Well, most people who have heard it likes it very much, so I think it's just me, I'm too bitter! hahaha. But at least, we've heard the last of NOBODY already (God, that song bleeds to my ears!)

I'm in a pretty good mood today! To begin with is that Aejhae's and I juat had our 2nd friendship anniversary yesterday! It's really a great achievement not only for both of us but also to our other best friend Shan She has been with me and Aejhae throughout the years, so even we haven't set any official date like this, for me she's also a part of it We're almost like a super trio you know hahaha. They're my pretty and awesome besties I love them so much! Looking at them makes me really proud of being a half Filipino

Anyway, here is a simple digital letter I made for a gift :)

Added to that is the subbing request AsianMusicVideoHD asked me. Well, the admin of the channel contacted me through private message [050510] and asked if I can sub the Chinese version of Jiggy [by F.Cuz] The message goes:

Hi, I just saw your comment in Jiggy Chinese version ^^

Apparently you are Chinese?
I would like to sub this version too, but when Yao Yao was added, some people said that they remade the lyrics. So I'm not sure if it's right or not.

I would like to show you the English lyrics and know if you can change it to the new part etc?
Of course you can say no, but I would like to make everybody understand it ^^

I was surprised to receive the message, but of course also overwhelmed cuz someone like AsianMusicVideoHD which I've been subscribing in YT for a long time actually needed my help!

I wasn't hesitant doing such favor since I like the song Jiggy personally and it was my current LSS that time I even posted a video link on Facebook and described it like

It was just kinda funny because I mentioned in there that "finally I wouldn't be needing some English subs this time" but I was wrong cuz I did need one, but not for myself though

Anyway, it was kind of hard interpreting their Chinese cuz there are few lines where their accent are quite strong... but it's not bad for non-Chinese speakers though. They actually did a great job

Slumber Party!

Hey everyone! It's me again, Lhezs Geez, I miss the blogizens so much! It's been more than a year since I last posted in my old blog, well, make that 398 days in exact too long huh?

Well it was because of my bessie Shan that made me create a blog again when she asked me to design a theme for her own site

Well, signing up for a blog account was a piece of cake. But making the theme for it was ~~crucial~~~! Gosh, hell yeah it was

I want my theme to be different from the rest I used to have, and for being not a pro, it took me almost 3 weeks for everything to be done

I had some glitches on editing the content cuz there was a time that a JS script failed so it took me longer than expected But anyway, I hope it came out fine It caused me buckets of sweat to make this. LOL

Moreover, I'M SO HAPPY TO BE BACK and I also wish you all a Happy 61st Chinese Youth Day (青年节)
